Education, Science & Technology (EST)

In this program, MDnext aims at investing in partnerships with private and public sectors and building education infrastructures to respond to Moroccan needs with a direct link to international top universities and institutes, such as TU Delft, Erasmus University, and Leiden University. To empower local content, MDnext provides lectures, tutorials, and training sessions to local talents and facilitates exchange programs in terms of traineeships, PhDs and job matching, etc. In short, the EST program aims at the following:

• Knowledge transfer and knowledge infrastructure strengthening: This is performed through different mechanisms including: a) partnership with ministries, educational and research institutions, b) student and professor exchanges, c) organization of /participation in/ international /national conferences, d) setting up of new knowledge centers and universities responding to the need of Moroccan market.

• Access to professionals/ expertise: This will be ensured through the creation of a large database of Dutch-Moroccan professionals in the Netherlands (and EU). Hence, not only helping in providing appropriate access to resources in both countries, but also exploring the potential of combining different expertise to start new powerful projects, businesses, start-ups, etc.

• Guidance and support: This includes providing appropriate help and empowerment of our people (with focus on new generations) to become more confident and perform better. Mechanisms that will be punt in place include trainings, coaching, leading by examples, facilitating internships, etc.
